uPVC windows & doors
Every room asks for something different. A bedroom needs air and security, a living room the widest view, a bathroom privacy and ventilation. These are the types of uPVC windows and doors we make in Aluva, with where each one works best. All are steel-reinforced and weather-sealed, with a choice of finishes and glass.

Every Sidra window is cut, reinforced, welded and fitted by our own team. You choose the profile behind it, from premium to budget-friendly, and we help you match it to your home.
Our premium range uses Okotech profiles from Aparna Enterprises, Hyderabad, extruded from a lead-free, calcium-zinc compound. Okotech is on South Central Railway's list of approved uPVC window and door brands.
Our mid range uses Yashpoly profiles from Yashashri Polyextrusion, Kolhapur, a profile maker for over 25 years. Yashpoly makes its own gaskets and steel reinforcement and uses a lead-free compound.
Unitech profiles are made in Arni, Tamil Nadu, and are our most cost-effective range. We recommend them where budget matters most, such as rental homes, extensions or utility rooms.
Brand details are as published by each profile maker. Ask to see all three side by side at our Aluva showroom.
Options
Every uPVC window and door above can be specified with the options below. We help you choose at the site visit, and you can see samples at our Aluva showroom.

Classic white, warm wood-grain laminates or deep modern tones. None of them ever needs painting.

Glass decides much of how a room feels: its light, its warmth and its quiet. We recommend the right type for each elevation.

Keep the breeze and leave the insects outside. Sliding mesh shutters run on their own track; hinged mesh suits casements and doors.

Grills add security on lower floors and in apartments, and can be combined with mosquito mesh on the same window. Designs stay simple, so the view stays clear.

Handles, hinges, rollers and locks are matched to each window type and weight. Multi-point locks secure the sash at several points, not just one.
Most Kerala homes use a mix. Sliding windows with mosquito mesh suit bedrooms and kitchens because they save space. Casement windows open fully for cross-ventilation and seal very firmly, which helps on exposed or coastal walls. Tilt and turn windows suit upper-floor apartments. Fixed windows give the largest views. At the site visit we recommend a type for each room, not one for the whole house.
We fabricate with three profile brands, so you can choose by budget. Okotech is our premium range: lead-free profiles that Okotech states are made to EN 12608 and IS 17953. Yashpoly is our mid range, with its own gaskets and steel reinforcement. Unitech is our most cost-effective range. Whichever you choose, the window is cut, reinforced, welded and fitted by our own team in Aluva.
A sliding window opens by moving one sash across another, so it never projects into the room or outside, and only part of the opening is clear at once. A casement window is hinged and swings open, so the whole opening clears for air. Casements press against their gaskets when locked, giving a very firm seal. Sliding windows are simpler to fit with mesh and grills.
Yes. Many Kerala homes want both, especially on ground floors and in apartments. On sliding windows, the mesh usually runs on a third track, with the safety grill fixed on the inside or outside of the frame. On casement windows, a hinged or fixed mesh is combined with a grill. We plan the arrangement at the site visit so the window still opens, cleans and locks easily.
Yes. Besides classic white, we offer wood-grain laminate finishes in Golden Oak, Walnut, Mahogany and Dark Oak, plus Grey and Black. Wood-grain finishes suit traditional Kerala homes and timber interiors, while grey and black suit contemporary elevations. None of the finishes needs painting or polishing. Swatch colours on screen are indicative, so we recommend seeing the real samples at our Aluva showroom or during your site visit.
Yes. uPVC sliding doors and French doors are among the most popular choices for Kerala balconies and sit-outs. They are sealed against monsoon rain and dust, they do not rust in coastal air or swell in humidity, and they lock at several points. Sliding doors save space on narrow balconies, while French doors open the full width. Mosquito mesh can be added to both.
We offer toughened, double-glazed (DGU), laminated, acoustic and frosted glass. Toughened glass is stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small pieces. Double-glazed units slow heat and soften outside noise. Laminated glass holds together if broken, which suits exposed elevations and security. Acoustic glass is for busy roads. Frosted glass gives privacy in bathrooms. We suggest the right glass for each elevation at the site visit.
