Our story

Our story, since XX.

Sidra began with a simple idea: the people who make a window should be the people who fit it. For XX years we have made uPVC windows and doors in Aluva for homes across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Our own factory gives us control over every cut, weld and seal. Our own fitting team means the frame that leaves Aluva is installed exactly as it was designed. The same company answers for it from the factory floor to your wall.

Today we work with homeowners, NRI families, builders and architects. X,XXX projects later, the idea has not changed.

The Aluva factory

Inside our uPVC window factory in Aluva.

Five steps turn a length of uPVC profile into a finished window. Each one happens under one roof in Aluva, Ernakulam.

    Cut

    Profiles are cut to the laser-measured size of your opening, with mitred corners for a clean joint.

    Weld

    The corners are heat-welded into one continuous frame, leaving no screwed joints for rain to find.

    Reinforce

    Galvanised steel is fixed inside the profile, so large frames stay rigid and true for years.

    Glaze

    Your chosen glass is set with gaskets and glazing beads: toughened, double-glazed, laminated, acoustic or frosted.

    Each window is checked for squareness, smooth operation, locking and seals before it leaves the factory.

Where are Sidra uPVC windows made?

Every Sidra window and door is made in our own factory in Aluva, in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Profiles are cut, welded, reinforced with galvanised steel and glazed to the exact measurements taken at your site. Making them ourselves lets us control quality and timing, and one company answers for each frame from the factory floor to your wall.

Who installs the windows, your team or contractors?

Our own fitting team installs every window and door we make. They know our profiles and hardware, and they fix, align and seal each opening before walking you through how it works. Keeping fabrication and installation in one company avoids the usual gap between supplier and fitter when something needs attention later.

What quality checks does each window go through?

In the factory, each frame is checked for size, squareness, weld finish, hardware fitting and gasket seating before dispatch. On site, our team checks that every window is level, opens and locks smoothly and is properly sealed to the wall. We then go through each opening with you at handover.
